Looks great, although it looks a bit more like a game than before ( I've seen videos where it look almost real) maybe is the track. Will give it a test drive on PS+ before I decide to buy it.

Don't act like its only IGN having worries about the game gampelay, there is plenty of other sources and people saying the same thing. Maybe the demo doesnt do the game justice.
You are right, PS4 has this gen in its pocket, I also think XBO might catch up with the WiiU this holiday when they have exclusive games out to play on the console. As of right now there is nothing new to play only on XBO, its been dry for a while now.
I dont agree with your variety comment though. XBO its offering a lot variety in the future also. If you really want varity get both.

Well he is not the first person saying the gameplay is lacking. Maybe is the demo, hopefully is the demo that is a bad sample of the gameplay.
